A 23-year-old Navi Mumbai woman was arrested for allegedly strangling her newborn son five days after giving birth. Police said she confessed to the crime, claiming she could not raise a second child while already caring for an 18-month-old daughter. She had learned about her pregnancy in 7th month and was unable to terminate it due to its advanced stage.
