Woman opens her bank locker after 17 years in UP, finds ₹50 lakh gold missing

A woman in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur has alleged that jewellery worth around ₹50 lakh went missing from her SBI locker, which she opened after nearly 17 years. The woman said the locker was originally allotted by State Bank of Travancore, which later merged with SBI. Police have registered a case against the branch manager and employees and launched an investigation.
