A government employee in Hyderabad was allegedly blackmailed into giving ₹5 lakh to a woman he befriended on Facebook. According to his complaint, the woman used to appear nude on video calls on WhatsApp and asked him to strip as well. She is said to have recorded the video call using a screen recording application and used it for extortion.
