Women-led self-help group in U'khand crafts eco-friendly rakhis

Women from Uttarakhand's "Hansuli" self-help group in Dehradun are blending hill heritage with sustainable craftsmanship ahead of Raksha Bandhan. Inspired by traditional silver jewellery, local artisans are using age-old stamp-carving techniques to create silver and eco-friendly rakhis. The group previously received an encouraging letter from PM Narendra Modi’s office for its eco-friendly crafts.
