Women vote for the first time in Saudi Arabia

For the first time in history, women in Saudi Arabia are participating in the voting process as candidates and voters in the municipal elections on Saturday. While 978 women are participating as candidates, around 1,30,000 women have registered as voters. Now, Vatican City remains the only country in the world where women do not have voting rights.
