Iran's Chief Justice Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje'i has reportedly said that women who appear in public without hijab will be prosecuted "without mercy". "Unveiling is tantamount to enmity with (our) values," Mohseni-Eje'i said. His comments come amid months of protests following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini who died in the custody of the morality police for wearing an 'improper' hijab.
