Female workforce participation in UP jumped from 14% in 2017 to 36% in 2024. Yogi govt schemes like Kanya Vivaah and maternity assistance disbursed over ₹800 crore to 1.9 lakh women, driving social and economic empowerment. 25,720 women registered as new workers in FY 2025–26 so far. In 2024–25, the number stood 89,441 women.
