The Supreme Court refused to permit the Haryana government's Aravalli zoo safari project, stating that "we won't allow anyone to touch the Aravallis" until experts determine the region's definition. The court was hearing a plea by five retired Indian Forest Service officers challenging the project. CJI Surya Kant said the matter would be considered after expert committee submits its opinion.
