After an impeachment committee was set-up to reinvestigate allegations against him, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said, "I am not resigning." He was accused in 2022 of hiding $4 million inside sofas at his private farm and allegedly covering up its theft in the "Farmgate" scandal. The country's parliament has now ruled that 2022 vote blocking impeachment proceedings was unconstitutional.
