Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico on Sunday said that Slovakia will block any European Union (EU) sanctions against Russia that would harm the country's national interests. Earlier, Slovakia's parliament approved a resolution urging the government not to back any new sanctions on Russia. Notably, Slovakia has stopped military aid to Ukraine amid the war with Russia.
