Work from home can increase sedentary behaviour by 45 mins: Study
People sleep slightly longer when working from home but sit more and are less physically active than on office days, a study found. It added that people slept 15 minutes longer on average on remote days and spent 45 minutes longer sitting and/or lying down. "The increase in sedentary behaviour...was mostly caused by spending less time standing," a researcher said.
