Condemning migrant labourer Jewel Rana's murder over suspicion of being a Bangladeshi, Trinamool Congress wrote on X, “Lynching of a migrant worker in Sambalpur is outcome of BJP's sustained campaign against Bengalis. A citizen of India was beaten to death because a mob believed Bengalis are infiltrators who must constantly prove their right to exist. Consequence of BJP’s Bangla-birodhi politics."
