Australian police said they've begun operation to protect personal information of 10,000 people whose data may have been shared online after a cyber attack on Optus. This comes days after hackers released details of Optus' customers, saying they wouldn't stop posting details until they receive $1 million. Affected people may have had their 100-point identification compromised, police said.
