World number 142 Liam Broady defeated fourth-ranked Casper Ruud in the second round of Wimbledon 2023 on Thursday to secure his first-ever win over a top five player. British wildcard Broady defeated Ruud with a scoreline of 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-0. Ruud has only two wins in six matches played at Wimbledon over four appearances.
