World no. 2 Medvedev defeats Kyrgios to reach Aus Open 3rd round
World number two Daniil Medvedev on Thursday beat Australian Nick Kyrgios 7-6(1), 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 in the second round of the Australian Open. “I came to win this match and I am happy I managed to do so,” Medvedev said. The 25-year-old Russian will now face Botic van de Zandschulp of the Netherlands in the third round.
