World number 28 Petra Kvitova entered her first final at Cincinnati Open after beating 2019 champion Madison Keys 6-7(6-8), 6-4, 6-3 in the semi-final on Saturday. Overall, this is Kvitova's 40th career singles final. Kvitova will face unseeded Caroline Garcia, the first-ever qualifier to reach the final of a WTA 1000 tournament. Garcia defeated sixth-seeded Aryna Sabalenka 6-2, 4-6, 6-1.
