World number one Rafael Nadal clinched his third US Open title on Sunday, taking his tally of Grand Slam titles to 16. Nadal defeated first-time Grand Slam finalist Kevin Anderson 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 to clinch the title. Nadal, who also won French Open in June, has now won two or more Grand Slam titles in a year four times.
