World-renowned mountaineer Nirmal Purja's body has been found after he and 9 other climbers died in an avalanche that struck 8,047-metre Broad Peak. In 2019, Purja had set a world record by climbing all 14 of the world's 8,000-metre peaks in 189 days. The avalanche struck the international expedition on July 30 as the team climbed the world's 12th-highest mountain.
