The world's first telerobotic weight loss surgery has been performed in India across 900 km. Doctors in Gurugram used the SSi Mantra 3 surgical robotic system and operated on a patient in Madhya Pradesh's Indore. The procedure is said to be conducted with zero latency. Notably, it is also India's first-ever long-distance robotic telesurgery.
