World's largest air show leaves RAF Fairford, moves to new base after 40 yrs

The Royal International Air Tattoo, one of world's largest military air shows, is permanently moving from RAF Fairford to MOD Boscombe Down after 40 years. Organisers announced the move on Wednesday, with the first edition at new venue scheduled for July 16-18, 2027. Organisers haven't attributed the move to suspected Iran-linked security plot that recently targeted the airbase.
