UK archaeologists have discovered world’s oldest calendar, carved onto a 12,000-year-old pillar at Gobekli Tepe site in Turkey. The markings include 365 “V” symbols representing days and show 12 lunar months with 11 extra days. The carvings also depict a comet strike that triggered a mini ice age 13,000 years ago, an event that shaped human civilisation with new developments.
