World's oldest-ever message in a bottle has been found after 108 years at sea from the German island of Amrum. The note asked for information on where it was found and promised one shilling in reward upon its return to Marine Biological Association, Plymouth. It was recognised as being released into the North Sea in 1904-1906 to test current strength.
