The Noney Bridge in Manipur, considered the world's tallest railway pier bridge at 141 metres, is nearing completion. It is a part of the 111-km Jiribam-Imphal project. Out of 52 planned tunnels, a significant 59 kilometres of the total 61.32 kilometres of tunnelling work has been completed. "We aim to complete...tunnelling work by 2027," said Thingujam Dolendro, the Project Manager.
