The World Stone Skimming Championships took place this week on the Easdale island in Scotland. Contestants were given three tries to throw the stones, which must bounce at least thrice over the water. People from Switzerland, Holland, Wales and the United States travelled to Scotland to attend the annual event, which was first held in 1984.
