World Wide Web's original source code NFT sold for ₹40.4 crore

A non-fungible token (NFT) of the original source code for the World Wide Web, written by its inventor Tim Berners-Lee, has been sold for $5,434,500 (₹40.4 crore) at a Sotheby's auction. It includes the original time-stamped files of the source code written between 1990 and 1991, an animated visualisation of 9,555 lines of code and a letter written by Berners-Lee.
