World's first fully electric and self-steering container ship, owned by fertiliser maker Yara, has completed its first visit to Oslo, where Norwegian PM Jonas Gahr Støre was given a tour. The 80-metre-long Yara Birkeland, that'll be fully autonomous in next two years, will begin operations in 2022, Yara said. The ship will cut 1,000 tonnes of carbon emissions per year.
