China has opened the 2,073-feet-tall Shanghai Tower, which has been named the second-tallest building in the world after the Burj Khalifa. It is also the tallest building in China, with an observatory on the 121st to the 123rd floor, which will open at a later date. The building is the world's third to be named 'megatall', higher than 1,968 feet.
