World's first person cured of HIV says he has terminal cancer

Timothy Ray Brown, the first person known to have been cured of HIV infection, says he's now terminally ill from a recurrence of the cancer that prompted his treatment 12 years ago. Brown, who was diagnosed with leukemia in 2006, said his cancer returned last year and has spread widely. His HIV was eradicated by a stem cell transplant treatment.
