Juan Pedro Franco, the world's heaviest man who once weighed 595 kg, has undergone successful gastric bypass surgery for weight loss in Mexico. The procedure on the patient is intended to reduce his weight by half, and is expected to be followed up with another operation, the doctors said. Franco had to lose considerable weight to be eligible for operation.
