World's largest asset manager BlackRock has more than doubled its stake in Japanese conglomerate SoftBank Group. BlackRock now owns 5.15% of SoftBank, up from 2.5%, through a variety of entities, filing with Japan's Finance Ministry revealed. This makes BlackRock the fourth largest shareholder after SoftBank Founder Masayoshi Son, Nomura Holdings and JPMorgan Chase, as per Bloomberg data.
