The world's largest fur auction house, Kopenhagen Fur, has said that it will close down in two-three years after the Denmark government ordered culling of its entire mink population over fears of COVID-19. The 90-year-old company will hold final fur auctions in 2021, 2022 and possibly 2023, after which, it will start liquidating assets. Around 300 jobs will be impacted.
