World's largest living cat is a lion-tigress hybrid

The largest living cat is Hercules, an adult male liger (lion and tigress hybrid) currently housed at Myrtle Beach Safari, in South Carolina, USA, according to the Guinness World Records. Weighing 418.2 kilograms, he measures 3.33 metre in length and has a height of 1.25 metre till the shoulder. Hercules was recognised as the largest living cat in January 2013.
