The construction of the Australian component of the world's largest radio telescope observatory, the Square Kilometre Array (SKA), has begun. The SKA telescopes will be made up of over 1.31 lakh antennas in Australia and 200 dishes in South Africa. It'll enable scientists to look back on the history of the universe when the first stars and galaxies were formed.
