A 0.003-millimetre-tall snowman, created by the Western University in London, is reported to be the smallest snowman in the world. The eyes and mouth of the snowman were cut using a focused ion beam, while its nose and arms were made using platinum. Made using three 0.9 micron silica spheres, the snowman can be seen using an electron microscope.
