Wicketkeeper-opener Wriddhiman Saha on Sunday smashed the fastest fifty by a GT batter in IPL history. The 38-year-old reached his fifty off 20 deliveries to set the record. The previous fastest fifty by a GT batter was recorded by Vijay Shankar, who took 21 deliveries to score a half-century against KKR earlier in IPL 2023.
