A wristband that can help blind, low vision and autistic people decode facial expressions and other nonverbal cues was showcased at CES 2026. Developed by startup HapWare, the ALEYE wristband works with Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. The device vibrates in specific patterns on the wearer's wrist, corresponding to the facial expressions of the person they're talking to.
