X, formerly known as Twitter, has rolled out a feature that allows paid users to hide their verification badge from others. "The checkmark will be hidden on your profile and posts," as per its description in the Help Center. "The checkmark may still appear in some places and some features could still reveal you have an active subscription," it added.
