Pakistan on Wednesday said it ordered the temporary blockage of social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, in February over national security concerns. It added that X failed to adhere to the law. Users have reported problems using X in Pakistan since mid-February. The confirmation came after a Pakistan high court said the government must restore X.
