Thomas McInerney, who has been named as Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer's replacement, will have a base annual salary of ₹13 crore, which is double the amount Mayer earns. McInerney will take over Yahoo once the planned sale of its core business to Verizon is completed. The remaining combination of Yahoo's stake in Alibaba and Yahoo Japan will be renamed 'Altaba'.
