'Dasvi' director Tushar Jalota in an interview has revealed that actress Yami Gautam was the first and only choice for policewoman Jyoti Daiswal. Tushar said that Jyoti is razor-focused, cutting sharp and has a steely authority. "When we were casting for this role in 'Dasvi', I couldn't imagine anyone else other than Yami Gautam playing Jyoti Daiswal," he added.
