Yamuna will be cleaned by 2029: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the Yamuna river will be cleaned by 2029, following the signing of the Kishau Multipurpose Project agreement. He added that until the dream of cleaning the Yamuna is fulfilled, the dream of cleaning the Ganga will remain incomplete. Shah noted that the Kishau project would increase water availability by 25% in the region.
