Yasin Malik, 6 others to face NIA trial over Pak-linked funds

A Special NIA Court in New Delhi has ordered a trial against Yasin Malik and six others in a money laundering case involving foreign funding through Pakistan-linked hawala channels. The case, registered by the NIA in 2017, involves nearly ₹8.94-crore in alleged proceeds received by the accused. Notably, Malik has been serving a life sentence in Tihar Jail since 2022.
