The rent for a two-bedroom apartment in Fuggerei town, Germany is €0.88 (approximately ₹65.18) a year. Founded in the 16th century by a man called 'Jakob Fugger the Rich' to house poor citizens, Fuggerei's rent was one Rheinischer Gulden (equivalent to €0.88). One must belong to the Catholic faith and be extremely poor to rent a house in Fuggerei.
