Mercury, the smallest planet in the Solar System, completes one revolution around the Sun in 88 Earth days. However, it takes almost 180 Earth days for the Sun to rise and set on Mercury. Being closest to the Sun, the planet has a short year but it spins much slower than the Earth, making the days long.
