Amid job disruption caused by AI, KPIT Technologies CEO Kishor Patil claimed the engineering services company has slashed its annual fresher intake by 30-40% and decreased its hiring cycle from 12 months to six. "You're required to be AI-ready. If you don't help yourself, the company cannot help you," Patil said. He added that their hiring has become more capability-driven.
