Maharashtra BJP MLA Babanrao Lonikar criticised people, especially the youth, for attacking the party on social media platforms. "The clothes, shoes, mobile phones that you (BJP critics) have is because of us," Lonikar added. Reacting to his remarks, Shiv Sena (UBT) MLC Ambadas Danve called Lonikar the “indigenous version of the British”, adding, “Your MLA status exists only because of...people.”
