Young adults may face cardiovascular risks without symptoms: Study

Being young and active does not rule out cardiovascular risks, as diabetes, hypertension, abnormal cholesterol and obesity can develop without symptoms. The ICMR-INDIAB study of 1,13,106 people across India found diabetes in 11.4% of those studied. Routine monitoring may help identify risks early, while people with persistent conditions or concerning symptoms may need further evaluation.
