As part of the Durga Puja festival, 'Kumari Puja', a ceremony worshipping young girls, was held at a temple in Dhaka yesterday. A young girl was dressed up as Kumari, the virgin form of Goddess Durga and worshipped. "The main aim of this worship is to show the highest respect to women," a woman attending the ceremony said.
