Astronomers have confirmed the discovery​ of a 5 to 10 million years old exoplanet, making it the youngest ever to be discovered. Nearly 3,000 exoplanets have been discovered so far with most of them aged more than a billion years. The discovery could provide scientists with new insights into how planets and solar systems are formed.
