The Youth Congress held protests in several parts of the country over the weekend against the removal of SPG protection to the Gandhi family. In Jaipur, Youth Congress workers burnt an effigy of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Youth Congress chief Satyajeet Tambe accused the Centre of playing "vendetta politics" and demanded that the SPG protection be reinstated.
